Project

iFood is the biggest food tech (delivery, groceries, etc.) in Latin America, with more than 25 million orders per month.
One of the assets must require by Marketing & Media team to In-house, are videos to use in performance/social media campaigns. Isn’t different with iFood Gourmet, so after a few months working on that product, we figure out that changes should be made to improve our graphics, process and results, consequently.

Every month, In-house make at least 30 assets for partner restaurants from 8 participating iFood Gourmet cities. When creating assets, I came across a lack of quality and sufficient quantity of photos, meaning that in most cases, partners did not provide images within the standards specified for this type of product and creative.

Challenge: Develop a new visual identity and templates to match our needs.

Concept

With this scenario, I've create a new visual identity for iFood Gourmet product with 4:5 format (1080x1350) and a creative line that meet the technical need for assets, but as well to be aesthetically aligned with iFood Gourmet's premium line in a modern, attractive and meaningful way.

Applications

After we define a new identity, I started to revamp the graphics for different kinds of campaigns, even digital and print ones. I keep in mind the central concept, as lines, square/rectangular shapes for photos, white space, overlap, striking copy, a short animation on several formats and medias.

The new approach was essential to increase numbers and achieve business goals. iFood Gourmet developed your own identity and growth as a product. Also, it received the compliments from Facebook that use graphics as great examples to follow when speaking in digital campaigns.

It was an incredible opportunity, where I challenge myself as a designer. I‘ve learned so much during all the process and still now. I’m much proud and happy about it.
